This was a rather last minute cake that was done for a very good friend's suprise birthday gathering!
Decided to try my hand at making Anemone flowers which are really popular in the UK & US. Haven't seen this flower before in Malaysia though...

Cake was a Lemon Poppy Seed cake with lemon buttercream. Zesty and refreshing!
