Barney & Friends Cake!

The lovable purple dinosaur is definitely a firm favourite of young kids! We were recently commisioned to create a Barney & friends cake for Khai Jien's 2nd birthday. And this was the result...

We decided to stick to the purple, green and yellow color scheme for the cake.

Barney, BJ and Baby Bop figurines were all hand moulded from fondant...

In addition to the cake, we also made these really cute 2D Barney & friends cupcakes to compliment the main cake.

We were really happy to receive feedback from the client that Khai Jien absolutely loved the Barney figurines! That really made our day! :)

Charlie Brown Cupcakes & Rabbit Themed Cupcakes!

I suppose the title of this post says it all! :)

The request for this set of Charlie Brown cupcakes was to only have TWO Charlie Browns (no Snoopy, no Linus, no Woodstock or any of the other Peanuts characters) I guess the Charlie Browns represent both the birthday boys?

This next set of Rabbit & Tulip Cupcakes are one of my favourites! It's cute, it's pink, it's girlie. And what's not to like about that? hehe

We were very pleased when we received an email with a photo of the birthday girl with the rabbit cupcakes! We love seeing our customers happy! But since she's a bit shy, she's requested not to have her photo posted up on this blog.

Man on Toilet, Roosters and Branded items! All on cake!

Some of our recent orders included cake and cupcake combos... for those who want the best of both worlds. :)

The first request was for a man sitting on the toilet bowl, reading the papers! We were 'instructed' to make the man topless too! hehehe...
